DARWIN VILLAVICENCIO

For more than 25 years, Darwin has proudly served his community as both a Law Enforcement Officer and Firefighter Paramedic in the State of Florida. Dual-certified and highly experienced, he specializes in high-liability areas within both law enforcement and the fire service.
As a passionate instructor, Darwin provides training in public safety, private security, First Aid, CPR, AED, law enforcement medical response, and related consulting services. His educational background includes a Master of Arts in Disaster Management, a Bachelor of Arts in Public Safety Administration, an Associate of Arts in Criminal Justice Administration, and an Associate of Science in Emergency Medical Services.
Darwin has also served as a Criminal Justice Adjunct Professor at Miami Dade College’s School of Justice, Public Safety, and Law Studies. Throughout his career, he has testified as a subject matter expert in numerous civil, criminal, and administrative proceedings, delivered lectures on a wide range of public safety topics, and received multiple awards and recognitions for his dedicated service in both the law enforcement and fire rescue professions.
In 2021, Darwin was awarded an Honorary Doctorate Degree in Humanities from CUFS University in recognition of his decades of dedicated service, expertise in public safety, ethics, and community leadership.
Darwin is a certified General and Firearms Instructor through the Florida Criminal Justice Standards and Training Commission, as well as a certified Fire Service Instructor and Fire Investigator through the Division of State Fire Marshal, Bureau of Fire Standards and Training (BFST), which operates under the Florida State Fire Marshal's Office.
His professional background includes specialized training and certifications in leadership, criminal investigations, internal affairs, interviews and interrogations, fire investigations, and other critical areas of public safety.
