ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

 18 years of age
 Only Class “C,” Class “CC,” Class "D," Class “M,” Class “MA” and Class "MB" licensees are permitted to bear a firearm, and any such licensee who bears a firearm must also have a Class “G” license.
 No Felony Convictions
 United States Citizen or Legal Resident
 Complete Course within 30 days from purchase

To maintain licensure, the Class “G” license holder must complete four hours of requalifying training each year. The annual training course shall consist of a review of the curriculum topics listed above as part of the initial training requirements to include any recent changes in the law. License holders will be required to achieve a passing score on a cycle of fire consisting of 48 rounds. If the license holder fails to achieve a passing score after three attempts, they will be instructed to seek additional remedial training and schedule another requalification attempt at a later date.

COURSE OVERVIEW

PHASE A - ONLINE CONTENT OVERVIEW

Phase A covers essential theoretical knowledge that you have learned from your previous G-License certification course, as well as on-the-job training you may have received.

This phase serves as a knowledge refresher on key topics that are critical to your role as an armed security officer—particularly regarding safety protocols and best practices for engaging with the public.

Additionally, Phase A features a must-watch educational video demonstrating how Glock mechanisms function, providing a detailed visual overview of internal components such as the trigger, striker, and safety systems. 

A final written examination is the final component in this online portion.

PHASE B - FIREARMS IN-PERSON TRAINING

Phase B involves practical application and skills assessment under the guidance of expert instructors. This phase includes:

Practical exercises, including scenario-based simulations and walk-throughs.

Live fire training sessions to demonstrate proficiency in firearm handling and accuracy.

Accurate scoring and feedback from instructors to ensure competency.

Total in-person duration for Phase B: 8 hours with an expert instructor.
